Education & Training

The brief

Concordia Vocal Project works with schools to make singing part of the school day, training teachers as vocal leaders through Sing for Pleasure so they can lead it with confidence. Concordia wanted a film showing what the project meant for the children, teachers and schools involved.

Our approach

Rather than a voiceover listing the benefits, we let the people involved tell it: children on how singing helps them focus and feel free, teachers on going from an apprehensive first session to leading new songs with confidence, and staff on what it has brought to their schools.

Deliverables

A short documentary film about the project.

The result

The film helped support Concordia Vocal Project’s successful application for £180,000 from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
