Little Inventors at Alexandra Palace with Maddie Moate
The brief
Little Inventors and Alexandra Palace wanted to get local children thinking creatively about the Palace’s long history of entertainment, innovation and experimentation. They needed a film that would introduce the challenge, spark ideas and encourage families and schools to take part.
Our approach
Working with CBBC presenter Maddie Moate, we choreographed Steadicam sequences around Alexandra Palace and added bespoke animation, balancing an entertaining look at the Palace with a clear, age-appropriate invitation to invent.
Deliverables
A presenter-led challenge film combining Steadicam sequences and bespoke animation.
The result
The film reached 62,000 organic YouTube views in its first year and was screened daily at Alexandra Palace for three months. The wider campaign received 4,700 invention entries and 1,800 downloads of its teachers’ resource pack.
