Little Inventors: Mission Moon Challenge Animation
A challenge animation inviting children in Michigan to invent for life on the Moon.
Education & Training
The brief
Little Inventors partnered with Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD) in Michigan on Operation Lift Off: Mission Moon, a challenge asking fourth-grade pupils to imagine inventions to help astronauts on the Moon, inspired by the Artemis missions. It needed an introduction that would capture young imaginations and get children excited about taking part.
Our approach
We made the challenge animation that opens Mission Moon, turning space science, rockets and lunar bases into a playful invitation to invent.
Deliverables
A challenge animation, used alongside Little Inventors’ classroom resources for the programme.
The result
Across the wider programme, four of the children’s inventions were brought to life and showcased in June 2022.
