The brief
After product films for its Norton and Clipper brands, Saint-Gobain Abrasives asked us to show the versatility of the non-woven hand pads in its Oakey range, for DIY and trade users.
Our approach
We lit each hand pad on its own to bring out its texture and quality, with a soft key light and a warm rim light standing in for sunlight. Then we filmed the pads in real use: removing stubborn materials, preparing surfaces for painting and tackling tough cleaning. Reusing industrial footage we had shot before helped us get the most from the shoot day.
