The brief
Child Friendly Cities and Communities is a Unicef UK programme that works with councils to put children’s rights into action, and Newcastle City Council was one of the first four local authorities in the UK to join it. The council asked us for a documentary-style film showing why Newcastle was chosen.
Our approach
We worked alongside local leaders and young people, letting them explain what a child friendly city means in practice: listening to young voices and giving them a real say in shaping the city around them.
