NTSCP Safeguarding Animation
The brief
The North Tyneside Safeguarding Children Partnership (NTSCP) wanted an animated safeguarding film made with young people, in their own words.
Our approach
We ran collaborative workshops where young participants developed the narrative themselves, from planning through storyboarding, scriptwriting and recording, with our team guiding their ideas into a structured script. The young people owned the project, so the finished film is in their own voices and their own language.
Deliverables
A fully animated safeguarding film, premiered publicly to the young participants and partner organisations.
The result
The film premiered at the Jam Jar Cinema in Whitley Bay to an audience including NTSCP, North Tyneside Council, Northumbria Police and the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board, all there for a film made by and for young people.
