Now that 2024 has came to a close, here at Turps Film, we’ve taken a look back at the highlights from our video services and what was an incredibly busy, exciting and transformative year. From expanding our team to taking on a diverse range of projects, 2024 certainly kept us on our toes and we were here for it!
The Turps Film Team Got Even Bigger
One of the biggest highlights of 2024 was the growth of our team. Dominic officially joined us as a video editor, bringing a sharp eye for detail and elevating our post-production workflow. We’ve never known anyone to get as many first-time sign off’s by clients thanks to Dom’s creative flair. Meanwhile, Claire stepped into the role of Operations Director, quickly becoming the organisational powerhouse we never knew we needed. With her background in business development and her strategic insight, Claire has played a pivotal role in ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently—even during the most hectic periods.
A Plethora of New Clients
This year, we were thrilled to welcome several new clients on board. These partnerships have allowed us to work across a wide range of industries and produce content that not only meets our clients’ needs but also showcases our creative versatility. It’s been fantastic to collaborate with such diverse brands and organisations, and we’re proud of the work we’ve delivered for each of them.
A Massive Year for Production
Let’s just say 2024 saw us reach a whole new level of output. The sheer volume of content we created meant that we had to invest in a lot of new hard drives to keep up! Whether it was filming on location, coordinating animated projects, or working closely with our clients during the editing process, every project brought its own unique challenges and creative opportunities.
We had the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects, some of our favourites included:
- A funky cartoon-style 2D animation piece that allowed us to really let loose with our creativity and push the boundaries of what animation can do.
- A sleek 3D animation on External Wall Insulation for a leading company, demonstrating our technical expertise and ability to translate complex concepts into engaging visual content.
- A beautifully contrasting commercial-style video for a care home organisation, where we captured the heart and personality of their brand.
- An awareness video for St Oswald’s Hospice, one of our long-time loyal clients. It was an honour to continue working with them and help communicate their invaluable work to a wider audience.
- An educational and inspirational video for young people as part of our ongoing collaboration with Little Inventors. Seeing young minds light up with creativity and ambition is always rewarding, and we’re proud to be part of their journey.
Of course, these are just a few highlights. Beyond these projects, we worked on countless other videos and shoots for a range of clients. Each project came with its own set of requirements, and we loved rising to the challenge every time.
Looking Ahead
As we move into the flow of 2025, we’re excited to keep building on this momentum. We’re better equipped than ever to take on new creative challenges and deliver outstanding results for our clients. We’re also looking forward to deepening our existing client relationships while forging new ones.
We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has worked with us, supported Turps Film, and trusted us with their stories this year. Whether you were a long-time client or a first-time collaborator, we’re incredibly grateful to have been part of your journey.
Here’s to another year of storytelling, creativity, and growth. 2025 – bring it on!
